VIDYA SAGAR GIRI - BOKARO STEEL CITY: I have been fighting for the causes of working class and toiling people since year 1971. During this period, I have even been jailed several time while fighting for the cause of common people. I have been in active journalism since year 1974. As a journalist, I have actively reported for Hindi daily Janshakti, Janyug, Dainik Jagran,Mukti Sangharsh etc. Also, I have been the editor of a number of periodicals like Ispat Federation Samvad, Bokao Express, Bokaro Today etc. I have also been the Chief editor of Swaraj Chintan (weekly), publisher and editor of Bhavi Yug Shrijak (weekly). Also, I have been writing independently as a freelance columnist in several magazines and newspapers. Presently, I am working as a Secretary Jharkhand AITUC, State Director Internatio nal Human Right Association, Dy. President Bokaro Ispat Kamgar Union, Gen Sec SSKU, Founder and Gen Sec Asangathit Shramik Kalyan Kendra and other social organisations. Presently I'm Jharkhand Beaureau Chief Janshakti.
